Metro ECSU offers network members time to meet on a monthly basis or bi-monthly basis. Each network was created in response to requests from member district staff. The meetings focus on the following pre-identified areas.
ELL (English Language Learners) Leaders’ Network
Join our network and identify and discuss the hot topics around ELL student achievement. Meeting five times during the school year, ELL leaders share experience, curriculum information, program models, instruction, and assessment for English Language Learners.
Come and explore best practices in gifted education. This group meets five times per year, with the first meeting setting direction for the school year. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet with gifted program coordinators from around the metro area.
- Critical topics identified by network members such as acceleration, identification, response to intervention and affective needs

- State funding and legislation for identification, staff development and program design
- Minnesota Department of Education’s vision and direction
Home School Liaison Network
School district liaisons to home school families are invited to join in the sharing of ideas, resources and concerns. This group meets four times during the school year.

Cooperative Purchasing Services
A wide variety of products are available with our program, the Cooperative Purchasing Connection. Vendor contracts are established through a formal bid process conducted by Minnesota Service Cooperatives (MSC).
Metro ECSU Membership
Active membership in Metro ECSU is open to each public school district which has chosen to join the cooperative by paying the appropriate membership fees. With membership districts can participate and vote in the governance of the co-op.More Information
